The focus of the Working Group is to make a translation Editor tool that will help the Buddhist translators community in translation workflow with automation of lot of mundane and repetitive task parts of the workflow with the use of LLMs.

To become a WG member, you must be registered on forum.openpecha.org. Members may be added or removed during regular WG meetings with quorum. Each membership change includes a reason, selected from the list below.

  • Participation in WG meetings, events, or activities
  • Contributions to WG-related projects
  • Self-nomination during a WG meeting

:warning: Reasons to Remove a Member:

  • No participation for over 3 months
  • Violation of the OpenPecha Code of Conduct
  • Personal request for removal

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Full-Stack Developer

  • Design and implement robust, scalable frontend and backend components, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and maintainability

  • Lead discussions on feature improvements and system enhancements

  • Architect solutions for automated workflows, seamless integrations, and scalable systems

  • Provide strategic guidance on choosing appropriate frameworks, libraries, and development practices to support efficient and sustainable development

  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and architecture walkthroughs to enhance team capabilities

  • Monitor and analyze user interactions within the application to inform feature development, UX improvements, and data-driven decision-making

AI Engineer (Specialist)

  • Develop complex AI agentic pipelines

  • Train and continuously improve in-house AI models

  • Work closely with users to gather feedback

  • Integrate user-experience data collection by design in all products

  • Participate actively in team sprints

  • Produce documentation and increase the visibility of experiments

  • Prioritize paper writing and thorough project documentation

  • Network with potential collaborators

  • Represent the project both online and offline

Front-End Developer

  • Develop software components under the guidance of senior developers, ensuring functionality and readability

  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements

  • Participate in daily standups and contribute to team discussions

  • Document code and processes to help with maintainability and support knowledge sharing within the team

  • Research emerging technologies and continuously develop technical skills
