PART ONE: Request for Adminship (RfA)
Step 1: Copy the RfA template from the top of the RfA page

The USER who wants to nominate a candidate must Log in Tibetan Wikipedia

Note: The nomination has to be done by a USER with a good number of edit count (minimum 500)

Go to the RfA page

Now you have to edit this page by pressing ‘Edit source’

In the “ཤོག་ངོས་འདི་སྤྱོད་བཞིན་པ། Using this page” section, look for the box containing the following text:

Copy & paste this text in the “མིག་སྔའི་རེ་ཞུ། Current requests” section
- This should go at the END of the “མིག་སྔའི་རེ་ཞུ། Current requests” section, before the start of the next section of ‘Granted requests’.

The second section,‘ Current Requests’ contains the information about current request(s) for adminship, starting with the USERNAME, Support, Oppose & Comments, with username and timestamp (~~~~).

The Third section ‘Granted requests’ contains info about which USER in the past, has been accepted as admin, and the last section ‘Other requests’ contains info about past requests which did not succeed.
Step 2: Add new nomination to the RfA page

In place of === [[User:example]] === write the username of the nominated candidate. For eg; === [[User:Pecha-Tsewang]] ===

In place of “Replace with RfA text”, write your own request, with details on who and why you want to nominate this candidate.

Make sure to keep the ~~~~ (signature mark up) at the end of the nomination text. In Wikipedia, this ~~~~ is used as a shorthand for the user’s signature, which includes their username and a timestamp when they edit a page or participate in a discussion. so that the timeline gets recorded.

Press, ‘Publish changes’ button.

Once this page gets published, you can request the nominated candidate (USERNAME) to accept the nomination, by informing the candidate via his/her User talk page, or other means like email, etc.
Step 3: Accept/Decline the nomination
Note: This step is to be performed by the nominated candidate only, after logging in his/her own account.
- Log in to your bo.wikipedia account
- Go to the RfA page
- Edit this page by pressing ‘Edit source’
- After the section which contains your nomination, in place of ‘Replace with acceptance text’, just before “རྒྱབ་སྐྱོར། Support”, write your acceptance note, ending with ~~~~
For example:
ངས་འདེམས་བསྐོ་འདི་ངོས་ལེན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་ལ། འདེམས་ཐོན་གནང་མཁན་དང་ང་ལ་རྒྱབ་སྐྱོར་གནང་མཁན་ཚང་མར་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན། དེ་འབྲེལ་དྲི་བ་གང་ཡོད་ཀྱང་ལན་འདེབས་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན། ~~~~
- Finally, press ‘Publish page’ and you are done!
PART TWO: Discussion on the Nomination (minimum 7 days)
Note: This part is to be done by the supporters, and not by the nominated candidate himself/herself.

Log in to your account

Click ‘Edit source’

Go to the section, where your nominated candidate’s description is, which looks like; === [[User:Pecha-Tsewang]] ===

At the end of this section, you’ll see the ‘Nomination Acceptance’ section, which looks like; ‘’’ འདེམས་ཐོན་ངོས་ལེན། Nomination Acceptance’‘’

That will be followed by three sections:

རྒྱབ་སྐྱོར། Support

འགག་པ། Oppose

དཔྱད་བརྗོད། Comments

If you want to support the candidate, just beneath this title, ‘’’ རྒྱབ་སྐྱོར། Support’‘’, write your short description of why you support this USER/candidate, in the following format:

Do not forget to type # at the beginning and ~~~~ at the end of your support letter.
- Now press ‘Publish changes’ and you are done!
Note: For a smaller or localized language wikis, an RfA might pass with as few as 3-5 support votes if there is consensus and no significant opposition.
Only after 7 days from the nomination, may a request for review be sent to a Steward.
